This paper considers the gaps in knowledge for research methods in post-conflict situations, and the inadequacy of conventional data collection and dissemination in these environments.

This paper reflects on the ethical research methods used to involve the participants in the study. The people interviewed were engaged in shaping the research, the methods, and the product, and talked in groups or whatever made them most confortable to allow their voices to be heard as they wished and avoid re-traumatization.
